I just wanted to highlight the attached poster regarding doorstep cold callers.

If you have elderly relatives or neighbours, please advise them not to engage with cold callers at their door. Cold callers will travel the region targeting different areas. They range in services from roof repairs, gutter cleaning, driveway replacement, garden work etc. The work will generally be of poor quality and the cost of the work will be high with no guarantee.

The advice we continue to give is DO NOT engage with cold callers and report it via 101 or online at www.northants.police.uk to report them in the area.

The below website is verified by Northamptonshire Police and contains helpful information regarding doorstep scams.
